LANDSCAPE DESIGN SERVICE

Beautiful landscaping starts with a plan. Following are the steps I take in preparing your new landscape.

Initial Consultation: Complimentary meeting to determine your needs, goals and lifestyle. We will walk the property together to evaluate current landscape and current needs. Design fees are based upon the size and scope of the project.
Site visit: The site is photographed, measured and sketched. Client will complete short questionnaire regarding style, goals and budget. Client will be presented with via email various shrubs, perennials and trees for consideration for the design plan.

Design Development: A garden plan is created taking in to account existing conditions, light exposure, soil, drainage.
Design Meeting: Presentation of design plan including the garden design, photos of plants, shrubs and trees, materials for hardscape. Changes to the plan are discussed and finalized.
Installation Quote: Labor, plants, materials are quoted along with projected timeline for project. If using a landscape installer, I will consult with the contractor regarding labor and project installation timeline.
Project Installation: All plant material will be laid according to the design plan and large trees and shrubs will be placed with assistance of a bobcat. Heather will be on-site to ensure proper planting practices including usage of compost and starter fertilizer along with execution of the plan.
Maintenance: After installation, Heather will provide you with instructions on how to maintain your new landscape from irrigation needs to pruning to winterizing. Heather offers seasonal Fine Gardening to assist with these tasks.
